Dragon News
he Dragon News is a weekly internet publication, posted on the Lab School website, to keep all parents informed as to the important announcements regarding their child. Contributions are compiled and collected throughout the week and posted on the Lab School website every Friday. Parents will find announcements from their child's individual classroom teachers, as well as school-wide announcements that concern every student.
There are also many feature articles, pictures, and other informative pieces in the Dragon News. It is a source for flyers, important forms, and information regarding school policies, community service opportunities, performance schedules, and athletic events.
In addition, students from several classes contribute to the Dragon News at various times during the year, writing articles and adding quotes to bolster various features within the publication. Parents will see reports and images ranging from a normal day at Lab School to amazing field trip experiences.
Perhaps, most importantly, the Dragon News gives the students an extra set of ears throughout the week. With all of the work and activities they are engaged in on a daily basis, it is easy to forget important announcements and events. The Dragon News is a weekly reminder to parents and students and a convenient way to stay on top of the students' education.
