24th Annual Awards Gala Alumni Reception 2008

The 24th Annual Awards Gala honoring Outstanding Achievers with Learning Disabilities was held on Tuesday, November 11th at The Hilton Washington.  For the first time ever, the Lab School Alumni Association held a reception from 6:15 – 7:15PM  on the Terrace above the International Ballroom which was an enormous success.   Over 30 alumni attended this “reunion” of those attending the Gala.  On display were old photos of the alumni guests when they were students at Lab.  People truly enjoyed walking down memory lane by looking through past yearbooks, smiling over photos and reminiscing over “old” times.  Many a conversation turned toward remembering Sally Smith and how greatly she impacted their lives; giving them encouragement and sustained support even after Lab.
