Scholarship Funds
Many of our students are funded by the jurisdiction of their local public school because The Lab School can provide the intensive support and unique highly individualized education that the student needs. Many other parents pay tuition which covers a portion of the cost of educating their child. Lab School has always strived to be a school that offers its specialized education to all who could benefit from it. We are always working to provide more scholarship support for those families who need it.
Any gift may be designated by the donor to support our scholarship fund. Just note “Scholarships” on your check or with your credit card payment.
Staff Sponsored Scholarship Fund - The Lab School
faculty and staff created this scholarship, and supports it
generously. A staff committee determines the student(s) to whom it is
awarded. Donate online now.
The Stephanie Adler Memorial Scholarship Fund – established by her family to honor the memory of a wonderful Lab School student. These funds are used as bridge loans for students awaiting funding, until the fund grows to become an endowed Scholarship. Steffi was an avid thespian. To honor her memory, each February her family and friends hold a pre-theater dinner before a benefit performance of the annual student/faculty theater production. This year’s Stephanie Adler Benefit Dinner and Theater Performance will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2008. To view the 2008 invitation, click here.
Summer School and Night School Scholarships
Both our Summer School and our Night School for Adults offer scholarships to students based on financial need. We welcome your support of these efforts and your suggestions of foundations and corporations that might support this effort.
Memorial Gifts
Celebrate all special occasions this year with a gift to The Lab School of Washington in the name of a friend or family member. You may also remember your special loved ones through a memorial gift in his/her honor. Lab School is very grateful to the Lab parents, grandparents and alumni parents who have established funds in their loved ones names.
