The Inspiration of Frank Lloyd Wright
What is organic architecture?
That is just what students in Junior High Science Teacher Chris Coogen's Innovation and Design class have been examining through the work of Frank Lloyd Wright.
They have been exploring Wright's concept of organic architecture in which the architecture mimics that which is both found in nature and is in harmony with the surrounding environment.
Students took on the role of an architect and interviewed clients (AKA: family members) to design dream homes using CAD software to create blueprints and models that represented their clients' wishes.
Cool designs, indeed!
