Students with learning disabilities and ADHD need tutors who have been trained to work with and understand learning disabilities. The Lab School’s Tutoring Service provides diagnostic prescriptive tutoring that is personally tailored to meet each student’s needs. Our clients are typically students from other schools who have diagnosed learning disabilities, language problems, and/or ADHD. Ages range from kindergarten to adult.

With the help of our highly trained tutors, students can receive remediation in all academic areas — reading, spelling, composition, math, geography, history, science, computer literacy. We also provide assistance in learning study skills and modes of organization that enable the effective completion of academic work. Our tutors teach everything from reading readiness skills to math skills.
