Afternoon Program for Summer Project Students

1:30pm–3:30pm
Monday–Friday
Open to students enrolled in The Summer Project only

In the afternoons, Summer Project students will engage in a “S.T.E.A.M.”-based program with Darrel Parker, long-time High School Science teacher at Lab. Given the theme of the Jazz Age for the summer, we will explore the booming technology of the 1920s from the invention of the phonograph, television, and automobile, to understanding how S.T.E.A.M. subjects drove the classic music scene of the Jazz Age.

Please Note:
  • Drop-ins are accepted when space is available at the rate of $40 per day.
  • All students will be dismissed at 3:30pm, unless they are enrolled in Extended Day. See below for details. A grace period of 15 minutes is extended as a courtesy; after that, late fees apply.
