Interscholastic athletics, offered to students in Junior High, Intermediate and High School divisions, are an important part of the educational program at The Lab School of Washington. Through the years competitive athletics have provided hundreds of student athletes valuable opportunities to work, grow, learn, and have fun. Interscholastic activities are voluntary at The Lab School of Washington and we are proud of the fact that each year, approximately two thirds of the eligible student athletes choose to participate. The purpose of the athletic program is to advance the educational philosophy of the school in the arena of developmental and competitive athletics.
The Lab School offers seventeen different programs to our students, including:
High School: Boy's and Girl's Varsity Soccer, Basketball, JV Basketball (for boys), Swimming, Lacrosse, Tennis, Track, and Girl's Varsity Volleyball.
Junior High: Boys and Girls Basketball, Soccer, Swimming and Track.
Intermediate: Boy's and Girl's Basketball and Swimming.
