Admissions Information Sessions

Learn about the joy and effectiveness of Lab's unique programs from just about anywhere!

We offer multiple ways to explore Lab:

  1. We host an on-campus Admissions Info Session for each of our Academic Divisions in the Fall - those sessions are immediately followed by a parent/guardian tour. If you feel your rising 6th through 12th grader can attend a two-hour event, you may bring them. They will have their own opportunity to spend time in our program and tour as the final part of the admissions process.
  2. We host multiple virtual Admissions Info Sessions throughout the year. They are offered at two different times of day and take place live on Zoom. After you attend this Zoom session, you will receive a link to sign up for an in-person parent tour of that Division. If you feel your rising 6th through 12th grader can attend a one-hour tour, you may bring them. They will have their own opportunity to spend time in our program and tour as the final part of the admissions process.
  3. We attend multiple School Fairs throughout the Fall... Come see us in person! See below for a list of those School Fairs.
  4. We also host virtual meetings for Families of Color who are exploring Lab; those sessions are not Admissions Info Sessions, so be sure to sign up for one of those too.

Families of Color Meetings (open to all grades)

Family of Color Meeting: This session is an opportunity for parents of color and parents of students of color to hear more about the environment at Lab for people of color and how their child will be supported. Recognizing that Diversity Equity Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) is a pillar of our strategic plan and mission, and understanding how society works, this session is a necessary supplement to understanding Lab. The panel for the evening includes our Associate Director of Admissions Jewell Watson-Hellkamp, DEIB Divisional Coordinators, Lab parents, staffulty, and students of color. This session is not an admissions information session; please also sign up for one of our Admissions Info Sessions.
