Designated Gifts
Every parent, alumni, grandparent, or friend can be a part of our mission at Lab. Through their philanthropic support, supporters of Lab embrace differences as advantages right alongside us.
Designated Gifts
Over and above our need for yearly operating support is the need to plan and provide for The Lab School’s long-term financial vitality and innovative programming.
In addition to contributing to the Lab School Fund, many donors choose to make special one-time or multi-year donations designated to support specific goals, plans, or projects. These gifts ensure that The Lab School remains the very best in our field and a beacon for children with language-based learning differences.
Facilities additions and improvements, technology upgrades, grants for teacher enrichment, and endowment are just some of the programs that our generous donors have funded through their designated gifts.
The Aaron Boose Memorial Fund
Aaron Marquese Boose, MSW, LICSW, was acutely aware of the need to work as a community to support our young people. “Mr. Aaron,” as he was known at Lab, was a Black man, a Black artist, and a Black educator, who keenly and profoundly understood the need for an equitable and inclusive Lab. During his tenure at Lab, he fought for those students and families who have been historically underrepresented in the independent school community. To that end, The Aaron Boose Memorial Fund will continue to support Mr. Aaron’s efforts to ensure equity and access for those students.
