Intermediate's Renaissance Club Reconnects During Virtual-Plus

Summer weather returned for Intermediate’s first day of Virtual-Plus on campus.

To reconnect with some teachers and old and new friends, students in Renaissance Club played a few games like “Rock, Paper, and Scissors Evolution,” “Warm Wind Blows,” and “Would you Rather?”

Then, with a checklist of items from nature like an acorn, moss, or “something that feels smooth,” they embarked on a scavenger hunt down in the wetlands and in the playground.

Using Leonardo da Vinci’s notebook and the interest in the natural world during the Renaissance, students culminated their scavenger hunt by creating an art project that focused on appreciating nature.
