The LSW Reader's Choice Awards

In the Upper School, the community gathered for several events including the 12th Annual LSW Reader's Choice Awards. The ceremony recognized many of the works students read and analyzed over the summer.

The Upper School students who won their class' award gave a presentation on their book and gifted a copy to a special guest, several of whom were able to join the ceremony in person.

It is Banned Books Week and several of the books that students chose to read have been banned or challenged in the past. This week highlights the impact of book bans, which often target authors from marginalized communities.

Congratulations to all of the winners and honorable mentions at this year's ceremony!
