After School Program

After School Begins Monday, September 9, 2019

Lab is modifying its extended day program for Elementary, Intermediate, and Junior High students beginning this fall. There will be two sessions of After School instead of three. Each afternoon, Elementary and Intermediate students will have an opportunity to complete homework and select from a number of different activities which will change with the day. At times, additional short-term classes will also be available. Junior High students will have the opportunity to complete their homework, work on projects, or read.
Convenient for working parents and stimulating for students, the after school program is a popular feature of The Lab School of Washington.

Students engage their creativity, challenge themselves mentally and physically, cultivate friendships, and continue to develop important social skills.

The after school program is available for children ages 6-12.

Older Lab School students have the option of joining an interscholastic sports team, theater production, debate team or one of the many other clubs that meet after school.

The Lab School provides an enriching, supportive environment for children with dyslexia, children with ADHD, and other learning challenges. Like our educational curricula, the after school program is specifically tailored to help children of all needs and abilities.
