Here to Help

Hearing that your child has a learning difference can, at first, feel distressing. Suddenly, what you dreamed for your child seems to have altered, and you feel as if you are walking on a new landscape of unanswered questions.

But please, take a deep breath. We promise that at Lab, you will discover that a learning difference is not something about which to feel disheartened; instead, it is something manageable and oftentimes even something to celebrate.

"I have thought a lot about how Lab has helped us. I'm not surprised how Lab changed our son, but more by how much I have been changed. My perspective on learning differences changed, and also my perspective on all that my son is capable of achieving."

Words do matter. In fact, they can change the trajectory of a person’s life.
